Weight loss and debt free update
October 3, 2007 by bjefferies
September was an incredibly busy month. We are working on some very demanding projects. After compiling everything it appears that I’ve an average of 70 hrs. per week. This limited my workouts to 20 minutes only once every other day. And, I paid for it by loosing only 2lbs.
In the debt reduction arena I faired much better. I was able to reduce it by another $1,200.
I’m anxiously looking forward to this month and plan to post my budget online in the next couple of days.

Congrats on the 2lbs. They actually say 2lbs a week is the best and most realistic way to loose if you plan/intend to keep the weight off. Weight loss can be hard, so can getting out of debt.. but Congrats, and keep up the great work!
Thanks for the encouragement Blair
Hi! I like your blog and totally understand your goals. I saw your link on LLNOE which has been extremely helpful to me too! As an almost 30 yr old who needed to lose 100 lbs and dig my family out over $20,000 in debt I know what you are going through! We are down to $3000 in debt and I lost 30 lbs!!! I am doing weight watchers (currently on hold as I am pregnant) I will ad dyou to my blogroll as I want to check out your progress. Good Luck!!!!! Check out my blog if you get time!! thanks, Erin
I get anxious to post my debt reduction too. I find myself paying off a payment just so I can post about it. That’s one of the good things about blogging away debt, and weight loss, because it holds you accountable. And I think that whatever works for us is a good thing. Keep up the good work.
I love the picture at the top of your blog. Where was it taken?
I believe that debt and being overweight play hand-in-hand. I applaud your efforts in tackling both issues.
Good for you, pal! Keep slugging away. You’ve got a lot on your shoulders, but your attitude is positive and I admire you for it. Wishing you all the best.
